Take Me to the River 2025 Launch & Information Evening

Presenting Take Me to the River public engagements for 2025, we invite environmental activists, ecologists, landowners, educators, artists, families, individuals, and community groups to our launch evening at Solstice.
Encouraging collaboration, hear from the Meath County Council Biodiversity Office, Boyne Rivers Trust, The School of Looking, The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), LAWPRO, and a diverse range of community climate action groups promoting citizen science initiatives and community activism.
A collaborative vision between Solstice Arts Centre & Swift Cultural Centre, and architectural practice Cineál: Research + Design, Take Me to the River is a discursive public engagement programme immersing our communities in the life of our rivers through creative responses with artistic, scientific, and ecological expertise.
A series of 7 free public events will take place this year connecting land & water, immersing our senses in the heritage, mythology, and ecosystems of the River Nanny & Boyne Valley.
